All commercial filming on campus is managed through the Office of Marketing and Brand Management.
Marketing and Brand Management will bill licensees (such as photographers and videographers) for the costs of any necessary or appropriate security, maintenance, electricity use, supplies, equipment, and crowd control, as well as other location fees as applicable. These will be billed at actual cost.
All filming must be approved at least three (3) weeks in advance to limit disruption of the normal UO campus schedule, and to approve scripts and concepts in advance of permitting in order to ensure proper use of the University of Oregon brand identity. While the University of Oregon does limit the use of some prominent landmarks, exceptions may be granted.
