Creative Guidelines, Strategy, and Tone

When designing projects for print, it is important to leverage, maintain, and elevate the UO brand. Our colors, typography, photography, graphic elements, and voice come together to create a strong, unique image for the University of Oregon. Using our brand tools consistently ensures that we are presenting ourselves in a consistent and cohesive way, no matter the medium.

Design should have a primary call to action that guides the audience, drives engagement, explains the purpose, and creates focus. An effective call to action will maximize the impact of your printed materials with your audience, helping to achieve goals. Print collateral and other applications of the brand are most successful when clarity, sincerity, and simplicity are prioritized.
